Coast forest conservation initiative

Our organization works towards creating ecosystem-based management plans. Before we could actually create one an independent science team was bought in to conduct a comprehensive analysis of all the globally significant forests. Their final recommendation acted as the framework of our management plan which was later delivered in the year 2004.

It was only in March of 2006, that we got approval from First Nations and various stakeholders for implementing the plan. After a few years of its success in the year 2009, the Government of British Columbia decided to endorse our plant which acted towards conserving one of the biggest rainforests on the Pacific Coast of Canada.

As of now, there are five different businesses who act as a member of the Coast Forest Conservation Initiative. They all are jointly involved in the implementation and development of conservation and management plants based on the ecosystem of the region. Here are the details regarding our five members.
